We welcome all kinds of ideas.
No idea is too big, or too small. we don't care if you're making robots, or producing dope beats. We want you to pursue an idea that you're passionate about.
What kind of ideas?
Build anything that excites you— robotics, AI, software, music, podcast, you name it.
Who can apply? Is this remote or IRL?
Any student can apply. We are IRL in Atlanta, ending with a 2-day event in-person.
What if I already have an idea?
Great! Apply, and build it out. If you're ready to launch into the market, consider SX Fellowship.
Each week, we have 1 lecture, and 1 weekly update.
Our program is pretty simple. Pick your own idea, build it, get feedback, and iterate. Engage further through our community events. We'll provide mentorship, but our main goal is to just get you going and make progress.

AT THE END, WE MEET AT
At the end of the semester, everyone is invited to attend a two-day summit, where the best ideas are pitched for prizes, and students connect and explore further startup opportunities.
We've also had speakers, such as the SVP of PrizePicks, and the founder of OneTrust, the fastest-growing company on Inc. 500.

Our teams are industry-agnostic, and span across different sectors.
We've had ideas ranging from consumer apps to sustainable batteries. If you're serious about scaling your idea, SX Fellowship is the place for you. All at zero cost — we don't take equity.
What is the expected profile of accepted teams?
SX Fellows have a team of 4-5 with a proven idea that they are looking to scale quickly, and have received evidence-based validation from customer discovery.
What impact does SX Fellowship have on my idea?
Fellowship offers teams with the connections to mentors and investors that they need as they seek product-market fit. Those that do not reach PMF achieve new insights into potential pivots or new directions for their startup idea.
Does SX take equity?
Nope. We're simply your launchpad to scale & grow, and to even prepare for YC & beyond.

Fellowship is focused on getting your idea to market, or in front of customers quicker. The curriculum covers everything from the LEAN canvas, to customer validation, to raising money from investors. We'll provide mentors to check in with you every week, and to help you refine your idea.
